Picked up our Dodge Grand Caravan at the airport @ 10. Because its a local rental I had to put a $1,000 deposit down... whaaa?? Anyway, nice car, Nevada plates. They had to move 4 other cars first to get it out.

Went home, loaded up the antique chest of drawers for Joy, as well as a chair from Jane's Howen house... and of course our baggage!

Hit the road at noon, had very little traffic. Wooo whooo!

The Sundial Bridge at Turtle BayFirst stop, Turtle Bay Museum and Sundial Bridge. The museum was closing in a few minutes, so we didn't pay to go in. Walked the pedestrian Sundial bridge, advertised as a glass bridge. Very disappointing... glass is green/blue partially opaque. You could barely make out support beams below the bridge. But the sundial was cool... just a tower for a very large sundial. Markers in the park denote times of day as the tower casts its shadow on them.

Then about 2.5 more hours to Klamath Falls. Staying at the Shiloh Inn, which is great. Very spacious room. Dined at Applebees. Going to reheat my left overs. G'Night!
